Horticulture Code of Conduct

The Horticulture Code of Conduct has been prescribed for the purposes of Section 51AD of the Trade Practices Act 1974 and declared to be a mandatory industry code.

The Horticulture Code of Conduct is effective from 14 May 2007 and regulates the supply of horticulture produce between traders and growers in Australia in certain circumstances.  As a requirement of the Horticulture Code of Conduct the LaManna Group, Australian Banana Company Pty Ltd and Fresh Choice WA Pty Ltd are required to publish and maintain Terms of Trade.
