When Is International Burger Day and How Can You Celebrate?

International Burger Day 2026 falls on May 28 — an annual celebration of one of the world’s most beloved foods. The hamburger has been a crowd favourite since it debuted at the 1904 World’s Fair in the USA, and it’s only gotten more popular since.

At LaManna, we’re marking the occasion with some of the best burgers in Essendon, served fresh in our café or ready to cook at home with our butcher-made patties, chicken thighs, rockling fillets, and field mushrooms.

Our Essendon café serves up some of the best burgers in Essendon every day from 11:30am to 3pm at 10 English Street, Essendon Fields.

Our Cheeseburger features a juicy 160-gram beef patty, sliced cheddar cheese, LaManna’s special sauce, and pickles in a soft bun. The Fried Chicken Sandwich layers crumbed chicken, cheddar, pickles, iceberg lettuce, and herb mayo, all in a bun.

Available daily from LaManna’s café from 11am to 3pm. Both are made to order and worth the trip.
